Independence Christmas Parade 2010

Paul was leading the parade so the boys and I rode with him.  Above is Darrell riding in the 'cramped' backseat.  His legs are too long! As long as he doesn't make it a habit he should be alright!
Waiting for the parade to begin.

The boys wore Santa hats.  It was very funny when I heard an older lady saying, "Look, the prisoners have Santa hats!"  Darrell is below. Had to have his phone with him! :)

Paul and I were in the Veteran's Day parade at a little town called Havanna, KS last Sat.  There were more people in the parade than watching...at least it appeared that way :)  It was fun tho.  Nice to see them honor our heroes.

FYI:

This past year I have lost most of my hair due to medications.  A year ago it was at my waist and has continued to fall out.  The meds were changed in the summer and it's starting to grow again.  It has been a great frustration to me because I loved my long hair even tho at times it was very painful. It is growing in thick again so I hope it continues.  At least I'm not shedding hair like a dog losing it's winter coat.  That's something to be thankful for!

My babies all grown up.  Darrell is the tallest yet the youngest.  He's a Sophomore this year.  Chad just graduated from high school! Time does go on....
